"Love as Thou Wilt."
As a young Au'Ra, Hyacinthe never quite imagined his life would take a turn anywhere near where he'd eventually end up. Youngest in his family, Hyacinthe was strongly discouraged from leaving his very reclusive Raen clan to become an acolyte of the order Menphina. But a stubborn streak and the iron will oft associated with his kind saw Hyacinthe abandoning the home he'd known all his life in favor of the deep colds of Coerthas, in search of what he then believed to be his true calling in life.
It was there that he came to understand the true nature of love, of intimacy, and the myriad scopes associated with both things. Unfortunately, Hyacinthe found that as he grew and as he learned, he disagreed with his fellow acolytes and the stricter teachings of the temple, and so for the second time in his life, Hyacinthe found himself leaving to find his calling.
It's in doing this that he managed to find the thriving night life of Eorzea and the freedom to explore his personal beliefs.
